They have great veggie options, and offer soy paper!!!! Prices were totally decent, the staff was very friendly, it was tastefully decorated inside, the bathrooms were clean, and parking in the shopping center they're located in was easy. We will definitely be back!

A gem of a restaurant! We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood! The food is outstanding with a quality bar that is consistently very high. Kudos to the chefs! And it has some of the nicest staff of any restaurant. Definitely worth a trip!

Top notch! Food presentation and quality is incredible. Staffs are friendly and smiley. Ambience is cozy yet sophisticated. You won't find a better sushi place! Highly recommended!!

One of my favorite places for Japanese fusion cuisine is Kuro Sushi. Such a bright place and friendly staff. They are super attentive and always make sure we have everything. I love this place because they have a nice variety of Japanese cuisine and sushi. Something super unique about Kuro sushi is that they use purple rice for a majority of their dishes rather than white rice. I enjoy the purple rice because it brings out a nice flavor profile. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and the veggie crunch roll. The chicken katsu curry was well-balanced and the curry worked well with the purple rice and the chicken. I also really love the veggie crunch roll which is consistent with tofu. I haven't seen tofu rolls offered in sushi restaurants, which I found super appealing. Whenever you're in Bellevue Kuro Sushi is a great place for lunch or dinner.

Got takeout on Saturday- and the presentation was still so beautiful even in the container! Order was ready on time and packaged nicely. We got the salmon poke bowl and saba shioyaki. Salmon poke: Delicious, very fresh fish. The salmon was delicious as was the spicy salmon paste. Perfect ratio of salmon to rice and salad- a balanced meal! Only $18! Saba shioyaki: So good! Fish was chewy on the outside and so tender, met in your mouth on the inside. Visible grill marks so you know they actually cooked it as advertised. Seemed a bit oily but I think that's just how mackerel is. The flavor was exquisite and paired perfectly with the soy sauce. Purple rice they served with it was delicious too. Superb value at only $16 for the whole plate! Great restaurant, I hope they stay open for a long time.

Wow, I really enjoyed dining at this place. Warm lights, fresh flowers on the tables, and welcoming atmosphere really make it nice. Food wise, the selection of fish was great on the Chirashi, and the purple rice made it very unique. karage had a different but pleasant texture that made it the best karage I had tasted. Service was good, very attentive. Overall this is one of the best places I've been to in eastside. Really good value for what you're paying for. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for sushi.

Excellent first experience. I ate way too much though. Food is fresh and delicious. Nice decor and ambiance. Friendly wait staff. What's not to like? I'm just glad there's new sushi in my area. Previously my go to was I love Sushi in Bellevue but it's nice now to have other options. I also enjoy Flo in Bellevue and Oto in Redmond (not the Kirkland location which I find to be not as good). In any event, we went early on a Friday (5 p.m.) and some tables were occupied. By 6 p.m. there was a line out the door. Not sure if they take reservations but definitely give this one a try. This establishment is in the busy Eastgate Plaza shopping center with a major grocery store, banks and other restaurants so parking can be challenging. I'm just glad this soon to be regular is only 10 minutes from my house.

I have to admit, this is probably one of my top 3 sushi spots in the area! My friends and I came with no reservations on a Thursday evening and were able to get seated immediately. The staff were kind and I feel like they delivered great customer service. Each of us ordered a variety of different kinds and enjoyed it! The rolls were bigger than we thought and became very full. I personally ordered the crab tower and LOVED it! Presentation, taste, and flavor were all spot on. Overall, this is a great spot that offers Happy Hour on Monday - Friday, from 11-3 and 4-5. I'd also recommend the choya plum wine as a drink option for something on the sweeter side. Tons of parking available and overall clean restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great place! I got the aquarium because it had a large variety of fish. It was very tasty - all their rolls here are unique in that they use purple rice. Not sure it tastes too different but it certainly looks more eye catching. Service was really good too - the server came up and told us she was sorry that we were waiting for a long time (didn't feel too long to me) and in the end they gave us some yuzu sorbet as an apology! I really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

Came here on an early Sunday night. We didn't have reservations and only 3 other tables were occupied. Promptly sat and waited on. Items we ordered Agedashi tofu appetizer - tasted great Plain udon - good Saba shio yaki - Thought it'd be dry but still moist Salmon sampler - 3 pieces of sushi and a roe piece. It was okay. 20 pc omakase nigiri - Presentation was top notch. We shared the pieces so can't attest to how each one was, but the ones I did eat was great. Definitely recommend. It's a tad on the expensive side but you're on the East side and the decor and presentation of dishes matches the price. I'd definitely go again if I was in the mood for fancier sushi.
